I have always loved picture books, ever since the first time I visited a library and was allowed to take home ‘Hiawatha’s Childhood’, an earlier version than the 1984 edition illustrated by Errol le Cain which is now so well and truly out of print I can’t locate it anywhere.
I have been writing and illustrating my own stories for years, but never quite convinced a publisher that they needed my stories as well as my illustrations. Hopefully that’s about to change, so watch this space.
